Adobe Systems today plans to release Adobe Media Player (AMP), a free download for playing Flash-based Web videos on Macs or PCs. The Media Player comes with a large catalogue of videos and TV shows from many leading networks. Choose the episodes you want to watch – the Player will keep track of them and automatically download new episodes so you can watch whenever you want. Partners include CBS, MTV, Universal Music, PBS and CondéNet. You can playback either streamed or downloaded video in Adobe Flash and can view at several resolutions.
